Description of the facilities
PMET owns and maintains its 30,000 sq ft state of the art offices and laboratories in downtown New Brighton, PA. It is conveniently located to major highways,Greater Pittsburgh International Airport, rail and river transportation. It is approximately 25 miles from downtown Pittsburgh.
PMET's facilities include optical, and electron microscopy labs, quantitative X-ray diffraction, sample preparation (crushing, grinding, sizing) and general purpose labs. In addition there is a demonstration scale brick lab, various pyrometallurgical funaces, and a pilot scale gasification set up.
