Wine franchise that demystifies the wine shopping experience and caters to the overwhelmed wine drinker by making it simple and easy to find that perfect bottle. Each store is approximately 1,500 - 2,000 square feet and is organized by color and wine style. The territory includes 50 possible franchises. Currently, there are 16 open stores with 2 more scheduled to open in April 2008. Residual income from royalty stream and franchise fees on 16 stores is just under $170,000 for 2007. Projected royalty stream and percent of franchise fees for 2008 with just two additional franchises will come close to $200,000. Each store has three revenue streams: 1. Wine Club. 2. Retail Sales 3. Gift baskets, B2B, etc. Franchise agreement indicates 40% of franchise fee for new sales and 40% of royalty from all operating units goes to Area Developer.
