No real competition and continued growth. $100,000 dry goods, $50,000 live (this includes fresh and saltwater fish, reptiles, rodents, birds, dogs etc.). Of course this amount changes daily. FF&E is about $100,000 in racks, shelving, and cages. Computer system with Quick books and Point of Sale and this uses Intuit for credit card sales. This is an entire system which includes cash drawer, card scanner, receipt printer etc. The Security system covers the entire store and can be monitored from home or any location, as well as in the store. This system cost about $5000. We have (28) 20 gallon freshwater tanks, plus 2 other 900 (1800) gallon systems (of which 400 is saltwater), plus 6 other 20 gallon (120 gallons) salt water. Our puppy kennel is 12' x 16' enclosed with Plexiglas, open top for air circulation, houses 2 heavy duty wire kennels which can be divided into 4 to 12 kennels as needed. We have 2 large Chinchilla cages, 2 rodent containers which has 18 separate tanks, 2 reptile cages and more.
GROWTH: There is room to expand all lines of animals and products sold in the store. With increased room for pet grooming and housing.
COMPETITION: This is the dominant pet store servicing the county where it is located.
