The business is on target to gross $45,000-$50,000 at the end of this year and as we have been growing month by month, it is highly likely that amount will increase. The past 2 months we grossed $4700 and $6000 respectively. There is huge potential for the business to increase. At least once a week we turn away new clients, simply because we cannot cope with the demand.
We currently have around 100 clients on our books. We have 8-10 daily clients, but there has rarely ever been a week where we haven't had additional holiday clients visits also. The week of Aug 6-12, we had between 19 and 22 visits every day.
We currently operate our routes in Alexandria, with one covering the Old Town & Van Dorn areas and a smaller one on Route 1. AS well as pet sitting, the business also offers dog park excursions, overnight care, pet taxi and medication administration. There is also a lot of potential to expand the business through partnership with complimantary pet service providers (groomers/trainers/etc).
