This company has been manufacturing a variety of U.S. patented, gasoline powered, task specific land clearing equipment for over 20 years. Parts manufacturing and partial assembly is outsourced to local fabricators; final assembly, finishing and shipping is done at the company's facility. Sold through distributors, end users of this equipment are professional gardeners and landscapers, building contractors and retail equipment rental vendors and retail customers. Seller owns the real estate (approx. 33,642 sq. ft. of land with a 12,700 sq. ft. building) and will consider either a long term lease at market rates, or sale at $1.267 million.
The ideal buyer would be an existing manufacturer of a compatible or complementary product line such as light equipment for construction, agriculture or logging, or an individual or group with proven product development and manufacturing experience and sufficient working capital to increase production, sales volume and profit margins by (a) either resuming in-house manufacturing, or outsourcing manufacturing overseas; and (b) employing a regional domestic and international sales force.
