The business is primarily focused on the installation of Dish Network Systems (also known as Echo Star) as well as the sales and installations of Direct TV. Over the years much of the growth and stability of the Company has been achieved by acquiring the sole rights for Direct TV installations in a greater number of counties in Southeast Pennsylvania. Currently the Company has exclusive Direct TV installation rights in Bucks, Chester, Lancaster, Lebanon, Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties. These rights are readily transferable to a qualified buyer for this business. The Company does have competition for Direct TV sales, specifically Best Buy and Circuit City. But these chains also turn to the Company for installation services. The Company is also on the waiting list to obtain exclusive Dish Network installation rights in additional counties. The current owner is extremely proud of the profitability his Company is achieving, as well as the Company’s current market position. The owner’s marketing strategy is to increase the number of installation contracts which will ultimately allow the Company to fund the advertising needed to sell Direct TV on a larger scale. The business would also benefit from the development and maintenance of a web presence, and leveraging internet promotions. Significant growth opportunities can also be realized with the growing popularity of HDTV, especially in light of the recent FCC decision to regulate HDTV.Future owners of this business always have the option of running this business without having to personally engage in installations.
